Rene' Moore, 15, National Entertainer of the Year. |
 |
From Oklahoma, Rene' was quite surprised to receive the National Entertainer of the Year this past August. The American Kids National Entertainer of the Year award is presented to those that carry themselves well with pride, trustworthiness, commitment to ones beliefs, self respect, dignity, cheerful to everyone and touches the lives of others less fortunate. Rene spent the past three summers helping kids in the Library's Reading Program as well as volunteering at retirement centers with her God given talents in singing and helping with events at the center. She also has performed at Foster Parents Appreciation Day, Volunteer Festivals and other charitable events. Her favorite time this past year was performing at a Children's Shelter for foster kids that were spending their Christmas away from home. Rene' plans to continue to reach out to others with God as her main source. Rene would like to thank the American Kids for the many opportunities that have been given to her to share her God given talents with so many.
